Carpet cleaning prices in Dublin: what actually affects the cost

We don't publish blind price lists, because the honest answer is "it depends" — on the rooms, the carpet, and the condition it's in. Below is exactly what goes into a price, and how to get a real one in a couple of minutes.

Why no numbers here

Why we don't list prices online

Two carpet cleaning jobs that sound similar over the phone — "three-bed semi, living room and stairs" — can take very different amounts of time and product depending on carpet size, how soiled it is, and what's in the way. A generic "from €X" figure online is either misleadingly low for most real jobs, or padded high enough to cover worst cases and puts people off unnecessarily. Neither is useful to you. What we can do is tell you plainly what drives the cost, and get you an accurate figure fast with a quick call or a quote request.

Price factors

What goes into your quote

Number of rooms

More rooms means more carpet, product and time on site — the single biggest factor in most quotes.

Carpet & room size

A small box room and a large open-plan living room take very different amounts of work, even counted as "one room" each.

Condition & soiling level

Carpet that's lightly maintained cleans up faster than one that's heavily soiled or hasn't been cleaned in years.

Furniture to move

Rooms we can clean freely are quicker than ones needing beds, sofas or wardrobes shifted and replaced carefully.

Stairs & landings

Carpeted stairs are charged and timed differently to flat rooms, given the extra care each step requires.

Access

Parking, stairs to a property, or awkward access for equipment can add time to a job.

Extra treatments

Stain protection, pet-odour treatment or heavier stain removal are add-ons beyond a standard clean.

FAQ

Pricing questions

Why don't you list prices on this page?

Because a fair price depends on your rooms, carpet condition and access — publishing a generic figure online would either be wrong for most people or set an expectation we couldn't stand over. A quick call or quote request gets you an accurate price instead of a guess.

Is the quote actually free?

Yes — there's no charge and no obligation to book. Tell us about the job and we'll come back with a clear price before anything is arranged.

Will the price change once you're on site?

It shouldn't, as long as the job matches what was described when quoting. If something's materially different on the day — extra rooms, much heavier soiling than expected — we'll always talk it through with you before doing any extra work, not after.

How do you actually work out my price?

We price on the specifics of your job — number of rooms, their size, the carpet's condition and soiling level, whether furniture needs moving, stairs, and access. We ask a few quick questions, by phone, WhatsApp or through a quote request, and use that to put together a figure that reflects the actual work involved, not a generic per-room rate.

Do you charge anything if I get a quote and don't book?

No. Getting a quote never costs anything and there's no obligation to go ahead. If the price isn't right for you, or you just want to think it over, that's completely fine — no call-out fee, no pressure.

Is VAT included in the price?

Yes — any price we quote you is the full amount you'll pay, with no VAT surprises or hidden extras added afterwards. What we quote is what's on the invoice, barring anything that changes on the day as described above.

What payment methods do you accept?

We keep it simple with common methods like card and bank transfer — just ask when you're booking and we'll confirm what suits. Payment is taken once the job's done, not before.

Is there a minimum charge for a small job?

Yes, like most cleaning companies we apply a minimum charge to cover the cost of travelling to a job and setting up equipment, even for a single small room. We'll always tell you upfront if a minimum applies to your job when we quote it, so there's no surprise.

Does moving my own furniture before you arrive change the price?

It can. Rooms that are already clear are quicker for us to work through than ones where we need to carefully lift and replace beds, sofas or wardrobes ourselves. If you're able to clear a room beforehand, let us know when quoting and it'll be factored in.

Does a bigger or heavily soiled carpet cost more, or just take longer?

Both go hand in hand — more carpet or heavier soiling means more time, more product and more passes to get a proper result, and that's reflected in the price, not just the schedule. It's why we ask about condition, not just room count, before quoting.

How quickly will I get my quote back?

Usually within the same day, often much sooner if you call or WhatsApp with the details. A written quote request gets a reply as soon as we've had a chance to look at what you've sent through.

Do I need to be there in person, or can you quote from photos or over the phone?

Most jobs can be quoted accurately over the phone or from a few photos and a description of the rooms — we don't need to visit in advance for typical domestic jobs. For unusual or larger properties, or where the condition's hard to judge remotely, we might suggest a quick look in person, but that's the exception rather than the rule.
